Mondays during term time. Beginners 4-5pm; Juniors 5.15-6.45pm; Teens 7.00-8.30pm
Description
We run an year round programme of weekly circus workshops. We have classes for Beginners (Age 8-9), Juniors (Age 10-12) and Teens (Age 13-18). WE TEACH Manipulation Skills: Juggling, Diabolo, Hat Manipulation, Hula Hoop, Plate Spinning, Flowersticks, Shaker cups Acrobatics: Pairs Acrobalance, Pyramid Building, Handstands, Tableside Balance: Unicycle, Stilt Walking, Rola Bola, Walking Globe, Tightwire Performance art forms: Dance, Physical Theatre, Clowning, Puppetry, Percussion. We meet in St Kieran’s Hall in Cloughjordan on Mondays. Our programme includes annual performance projects, regular holiday camps, weekend masterclasses with visiting tutors as well as opportunities to engage with the wider youth circus community in Ireland through projects like the Irish Youth Circus Gathering and trips to events such as Festival of Fools.
